Drug Rehabilitation quality is crucial to recovery

Quality drug rehabilitation is essential for recovery

Help Fight Addiction is a non-profit charitable organization which helps place addicts into good facilities for rehabilitation because we know just how important it is for success to have a quality rehabilitation experience. A good facility will get you in the right state of mind, it will have the best professional help and during an addiction crisis there is never going to be a more important time to have the right kind of recovery professionals. This is a human life you are dealing with here and their success is a life or death matter. It doesn’t matter if you agree with choices this individual has made, you should be supporting this person at all costs if they have decided to make the brave decision to seek real help, whatever help they get should be the best and only the best.

Of course an addict needs the best help, so what are you saying that I/we don’t already know here?

Often times people want to avoid expenses or feel they cannot afford to help their addicted friend or family member. We get calls all of the time with people asking for a free solution and nothing else will do. While we offer that help regardless, we prefer not to send our reaches to places where we know failure is usually eminent. Let me point out a few major reasons why free solutions fail:

  • Free solutions often take months to get into, you can’t afford months with a life or death situation.

  • Many free facilities only offer a few weeks of rehabilitation and send the addict back to the streets.

  • Free solutions have minimal security and addicts find dealers in these places pretty often. This makes it actually worse than had you not sent them at all.

  • Some free solutions have been found to take advantage of addicts by using them for free labor.

With that said, for a person who cannot afford help it is most likely going to be a better solution than not seeking help at all. A county hospital can be a great place for an alcoholic detox as well and you need medical supervision for that.

With that said, here is the contrast you will find in a good paid facility:

  • Paid facilities have top specialists in psychiatry, psychology, addiction therapy, and sometimes actual medical doctors who specialize in addiction.

  • Paid facilities actually have been shown to get people back to work or improve existing careers by teaching job skills.

  • Paid facilities build a general work ethic and sense of responsibility as well as self denial.

  • Paid facilities are secure and meeting a dealer would be a much more uncommon circumstance

  • Paid facilities often have reputable track records of actual success in ending addictions.

The other reasons are nearly countless with built in gym facilities and much more relaxing living conditions to get the mind and body in a place where the addict can actually recover from the addiction mentally as well as the chemical addiction. Remember someone who is addicted has something they feel is missing from their lives that they need to substitute with a drug. The mind must be in a stress free environment with a new perspective presented to get that false idea out of their minds.

That still doesn’t solve my problem, I have no money!

You might be completely poor but that really isn’t very likely to stop you from getting into that facility either yourself or getting your loved one into one. There are several ways to get this to happen but it has to be important to you to save this life, either your own or the person you care about. Here are several ways you can get help:

  • Get family members to pitch in a little each until you have the money you need. You would be surprised how often this works out. Remember we are talking about saving the life of a family member, this is no joke.

  • Co-sign on a medical loan, I will assume you have no credit but a couple of signatures on a loan can go really far. Again this is a life we are talking about and yes it is worth a risk to your credit.

  • Get insured, if you have no pre-existing conditions you would be amazed how easy it is to get insured for just a couple hundred dollars a month. Try united healthcare, Cigna, or Aetna and avoid blue cross as many facilities we have spoken to are not willing to accept it. MAKE SURE YOUR POLICY COVERS DRUG REHABILITATION

The point is, you can get proper help if needed and the right drug rehabilitation help is so crucial for saving addicts it is beyond the scope of my ability to describe in this article. We will do our very best to keep you informed on ways to get you into a rehabilitation center that fits your specific situation and don’t hesitate to call 1-866-481-9223.
